Default opinion survey: kinetic vs optima

i am looking for opinions from anyone who has used a kinetic battery and a yellow top battery. if you havent had both i dont want to know about your opinion of one.

for those that have had a kinetic battery if you use there system to see which battery you need ad you put one in that is 2 steps above, what is the positive and negative of this? it was said i needed the 1400, but i was thinking of putting a bigger one in.

I've used all including a redtop. what exactly are you using the battery for?

I had the 2000 for my stereo and now its just a 600. I had a regular die hard under the hood and swapped that for a redtop. I had a yellow top and it died 2 years like clock work. red top is going strong

come baby boy you know im running my sounds. i ve had interstate.....hated it, had cranking power tho., had a autozone, oreillys, and some other special.....all sucked. ive had 2 yellow tops, the 1st quit in 2 years like yours, and the 2nd is still pushing.
the system im pushing is the biggest to date and the yellow top handles it with a very slight headlight dim at full blast, all the others it was like i had disco lights on the front of my vehicles.

i read an article and the people swore buy kinetic, so i wanted a vs. opinion about the 2 because the price i saw was 3 to 4 bills.

so why did you go from 2000 to 600?

I have both optima and kinetik. If your running a large setup you need a seperate battery for your system. I have two kinetik 2400's just for my system.

I have 3- Rockford 1000a2's one for each sub.1- Rockford 800a4 for mid bass and a Rockford 200a4 for my highs. I use stinger 0 gauge hpm power wire, and the way i ran my extra batteries is: 0 gauge power from the optima to the kinetik and the same to the ground, you don't want to ground your second/third battery to the frame. I know alot of ppl say use a isolator for the second battery but I had to send one of my kinetik's back because it died and that when they told me not to use a isolator.

hmm I used a isolator on both of my kinetiks, both are fine. I just run a redtop for starting and everything else is running off the 600.

ok so maybe the question should be, on a percentage level, how much more efficiently do you think your car runs with the extra batteries? i might dive into this an open up some other doors.

B.B. do you have a pic of your battery setup?
