Default idle problem any ideas!?!?!

hey guys, hows it going. its been a while since I've had a g2, but I've been working on a 91 LS sedan for a friend that has this weird idle problem. When the car is at operating temp, and you rev it or put it into drive, then back into nuetral or park, the idle starts going erratic reving up and down. I've bled the cooling system, and have replaced all of the udle valves, throttle body, etc. any ideas? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Will it happen every time that you rev it and then put it in park? Or just from time to time? How long will it rev up and down for? While it's in park or neutral and being erratic, try revving it to like 1500 yourself and let it come back down and see what happens.

My situation was similar. It would idle erratic only when warm and after being put from drive into park. I once watched it idle funny for 3 or 4 minutes. I didn't have the patience to watch it any longer than that. If I would give it gas up to like 1500 and let it come down in park it would usually cooperate. I got rid of the issue when I fixed a rear water outlet leak and replaced my slightly leaking radiator. I had a known coolant leak that I topped off but I believe the erratic idling was one effect from the leak I had.
