Telion Type II Chip out performs Stock Type II chip in emissions
As the title says, this is correct, and yes I am prepared to back this with evidence. It's actually kinda sad how I found out; here is how.

Today is the fourth time I have taken my car to get the emissions part of the emissions and inspection done. The first time it failed and threw a check engine on the rollers Second time, the only guy that could drive my car well enough to keep it on the rollers (they didn't have a place to tie down for front wheel drives) was sent to another city to help out third time tried a few things like swapping the evap canister lines going through the vac lines and it still failed so I thought ok I will throw the stock Type II ECU in I had to test it anyways (it is getting chipped) and the numbers were worse than the Telion chip.

So all in all it was cool to find out that my chip is better than stock in terms of emmisions testing ( I knew it would pass even in Cali, but I didn't know this). But at the end of the day I am still kinda bummed because either way there is some other unfound issue with my car that I have to find so it will pass before I start the next teardown.

Lol did that after the first time it failed, I was hoping to get away with it but that didn't change much.

Not only were they the same day they were within minutes of one another with no other changes from the preceeding test. I didn't want to taint my last ditch effort. As for the High flow cat I am pretty sure that is not the issue and it is more so whatever is causing my car to throw a CEL. It just started doing it and I am not sure why but I will know more once I do some more digging. The HC's are through the roof and the gas mileage is terrible so I think there is something going on with the fuel. Plus it threw a code 43 (left fuel delivery system) so after I go through it I will put the wideband on it and cut my fuel as much as safely possible to see if that resolves the issue. from there it could be hello ugly 3.2 fuel line and FPR till I get this all sorted out and hopefully that will do the trick.
