I want to buy a the shift linkage for a manual 6 speed or 5-speed for an experiment.

I have an extra one, too. $40 shipped? You can probably find just the shifter easier because of the short shifter swappers. What's the experiment???

I have a lathe, I was going to chuck it up and make a short shifter out of it. Your right about the ranger joe people. PM sent

OK I'll change this up.

1. You send me your shift arm (I pay shipping)
2. I modify your arm in my machine shop( full welding and machining) showing pics.
3. I test the new arm in my car. Once it's proven to be working well
4. I do the same mod to my old arm.
5. I ship the modified arm back to you. (you pay shipping)

P.S. I'm not some foot dragger, this will be done within 2 weeks of receiving your shift arm.

I'm doing this for fun and I don't want the down time.

I have one that I cut in half when I was removing it to install a short shifter.

What did you cut? Just the shift bar? send me a pic and I'll see if I can weld it back together.
