Default Can't catch a break.....

hgeez:

If anybody is curious as to why I got the MT Coupe that no one else in the family can drive.

Brian - that's your grille and hood - the ones I got from you back in Dec 2012.

The sedan was able to be driven back and is now parked in one of our local body shop yards. The bumper was removed, needed to cut one of the fender liner splash guards. I haven't had a chance to visit the yard after work yet. Know for sure the bumper and its cover is shot, was told a headlight needs replacement, and need a liner. Await police report...

Hey Alan - the salvaged oem fender liner for passenger side that I got from you fits great!
"" right back at you.

I think the bumper fits better this time. It's still a less than $100 aftermarket new bumper. My guy asked me for $50 but since I had only 20's I gave him $60 for his trouble.

Had it fixed for a total of $100 (including Alan's fender liner), picked it up last night.

Ouch! Hope for a speedy fix. At first I thought you'd caught the bumper on a parking stop.
edit; beat me to it Alan!

Hey all - thanks for your concerns!

Alan - wouldn't you know, I get a bumper signal light from you, then this happens!

I just got in the innards for the tail light bulb housings from Ari so the side brake light can start working and shut off that brake light idiot indicator which comes on intermittently....

Accident? Yes. A significant family member drove the car into Manhattan and was parking on Riverside Drive in the 80's to take the subway down to a meeting. As this family member was backing into a parking spot, unbeknownst to the family member, a commercial vehicle (a small van) was making a U-turn to maneuver into a parking spot near where the sedan was making the attempt at parking. A garbage truck was in the way and instead of this guy just stopping to wait he tried to squeeze through, clipped the bumper from behind and the side as the sedan was backing in to the spot....

No way did I imagine that my family member would be driving into Manhattan when a bus stop in town takes a ride right into Port Authority and then the meeting would be a nice walk further downtown in great weather. And this would have been after the morning rush hour.

Stay tuned.
