Default Where is the A/C filter?

Theres no DIY on this and i couldnt find any threads, but IIRC i remember someone doing this. An even saw pics of ppl customizing new filter bc of how expensive ours is.

ActionJackson, i could of sworn i saw you make one.
Please chime in for any help.

I removed the glove box bc i wanted to make sure my blow motor, fan, etc was working. An it is.
But where is the filter? Or better yet why isnt the A/C blowing through my vents as it should? My guess is the filter is so clogged air cant pass through.

This is what i see.

Thanks for any help guys!

the filter is behind the that green and gray plug. There is 1 or 2 bolts holding that plate on.

The filter is almost always between the blower motor and evaporator coil

There's 2 phillips head screws holding that metal plate in that the two plugs
are attached to. Remove those and pull the metal plate off and the filter is right there.

Good looking out Dreams and ActionJackson. They told you 100% correct. I just hope your metal bracket's edge wasn't "finger unfriendly". I didn't quite cut myself when I did mine but that edge was close to being as sharp as a Samuri sword! hgeez:

Just be glad you have a filter

if you don't then you get this

Your filter is right infront of there to keep it out of the evaporator coil.

The leaves were on both sides of the filter. I think they are all over the coils as well. An I stuck a vaccum cleaner hose inside and tried to get as much as possible. Got alot but theres definitely still more in there.
