thanx, smooth as butter, i thought it would be much worse to get it out myself but the floor is nice and smooth so the hoist rolled well and i whipped out all the tricks i learned over the years to get it done.

yup, 5hrs, annie came apart really well, considering i only put the motor in there a year ago, just shy of 3 weeks, i did put 26k on it in that time frame.

its getting the bhg taken care of, all my oil leaks, new oil pump, probably a few more undisclosed googies (we'll see how those work out, a few routes i might be going as of right now).

i know for sure, its not getting a 3.5

I just pulled my 3.2/auto by myself (and added tips/pics for other first timers to the engine pull thread) and you make it look so easy. I cant believe you cleared the firewall like that, nice job. You've pulled some a bunch of these, do the mods make it harder or easier? Having no PAIR from type 1 is helpful, what about the Y pipe and headers, do they give you more clearance or less?

I'm pretty sure his load leveler is the trick. Are you using one?

it was weird, this was the first time i didn't have to change the pitch of the leveler like we did in the video for the kitty pull. i set it wit the driverside raised higher and jack it up like that, also the car is set with the pass side lower then the driverside this helps clear the powersteering rack. then when the motor is all the way forward, and it doesnt look like its gonna come out with out adusting the levelr, i pull the motor to the driverside to cock it and keep going up, it just slides out, u gotta be carefull b/c it will wanna hit the rad support.

leveler IS FTMFW thou
