Default A touch of Red

I thought I could use a change so I picked red! Easy as spray, bake, and serve!! I think it looks pretty good. Probably do the coil packs next.

EDIT

DIY

1. Get some High Temp engine paint for your local parts store.
2.) prepare your surface with a high grit sandpaper say 200
3.) wash surface with soap and water to remove all dirt
3.) After dry, lay down a few coats of automotive primer (let dry 10 min in between)
4.) Start in with a few light coats of your high temp engine paint (10 min between coats)
5.) After applying 3-4 good coats I like to lay down a thick coat at the end to bring out a nice even gloss finish.
6.) Let dry for 2-3 minutes then pop it in the oven at 200-230 for about 35 minutes (Set timer!!).
7.) After you take them out let them cool off till you can handle them.
8.) You are DONE!! the paint is totally cured you can touch it all you want it will be rock hard!
9.) Install and enjoy!

I finished my Coils today

I was thinking the same thing. usually red looks a touch ricey in the engine bay, but in this case I like it. I thought about doing this and dismissed the thought but this makes me rethink doing this myself

you bake to cure the paint, that way its not effected by oils and its rock hard just like if you had it professionally painted with a hardening additive
