Angry What a god @#$% night

It finally happened. I'm walking back to my car at night in the deck and I spot a great big mark behind my driver door where someone smacked me with their door. As if that weren't bad enough, it seems that someone then also gave me a scrape as they backed out on the same quarter panel.

I always do a walk around when I get back to my car and, up until now, I've been impressed by how few nicks I've gotten (none). As I walk around to the passenger side to put my bag in, I see someone got me on that side, too. What a god damn night.

After I run a finger over the nicks, I realize I forgot to unlock the car. Wait, what? My remote isn't even working. What the hell is happening? Oh. This car has an automatic shifter in it. This is not my car.

This was bound to happen eventually owning an Accord. Some guy parked four or five cars down from me with the same exact car. Black on black, coupe, v6, 08-09 wheels. It was even a similarly filthy.

Haha, you kill me.

Okay, I've sort of been there done that. One time I was with some friends at Subway. Went out to the Legend (I'd left it unlocked) tried the key in the ignition. It wouldn't turn. WTF? Seemed like something was locked up.

I had damn near called a tow truck, when I stuck my hand in my other pocket. I had been trying to start the GS with the coupe ignition key. Facepalm. I don't know why at that time I had keys to both cars on hand. Lesson learned.

Well I keep different remotes on each Legend key so its easier for me not to mix them up! Its a good reason not to have an Accord or Civic or Corolla or Camry as they are EVERYWHERE!

Ford keys are cut the same on both sides so it doesn't matter which way you insert the key. I have two fords, so I had a set of keys made with one side cut for the truck and the other side cut for the car. I can use the same key for both vehicles.

I tried it with the Acuras, but, unlike ford, they apparently use tumblers on both sides of the key.
