Default Acura legend coupe vs acura CL-S

So i sold my 93 typeII coupe in hopes to get a black on black 95 coupe mint as hell one owner that was promissed to me by the owner who i knew for about a 2 years. which he sold on me the day before i sold my coupe to make the room and cash for the guy.So oh well i though lets look for another legend coupe!!!But i never found a nice one, so i saw a nice 03 cl-s and made the move and bought it.But i kinda still want a legend coupe which i still have lots of goodies for anywhere from brandnew never used stroumung exhaust to alpha touring grill so u can imagine all the stuff i still have for it and i still have my black 94 type 2 sedan so im still a legend dude but i really want a 94-95 coupe but cant have the cl-s and the legend.I kinda dont know what car is hotter and faster more reliable basicly a fullout comparison the only think im sure of is aftermarket support for the cl-s is kinda big thats a plus and i think in a race the cl-s wins too but those to facts still doint have me 100% on the cl-s over the legend so im writing this up to see what my fellow club members opinion are. Open to all opinions and facts and responces thanks

Owned both. Stock for stock, the CL-S is faster. My modified Legend is faster than a CL-S. Overall, a CL-S is a nice daily driver... but it's no KA8. It has no "soul" the way a KA8 does.

I also had both(sedan legend, CL-S coupe). The CL-S was a nice daily driver, almost too nice, nicer than the Legend, but still slow these days.

The only way I would buy a CL-S is if it were a 6MT. I did a lot of research and wasn't really impressed with all the transmission issues on the automatics. Might take a little while but I'd wait for KA8, or CL-S 6MT

Default Sounds about right!!

Thanks for all the responses, all the things u guys are saying sounds right on point with my thoughts legend guys all think about the same when it comes to cars!!! I still have all the upgrades for the legend coupe and think i will keep them all till if find the KA8 that fits my vision of the one i want .In the mean while ima try to enhance the cl-s and see where it stands at the end of the day so far i have done a full tune up brakes installed a 2000 watt rms system Viper alarm.Next on the list are the wheels ima upgrade to the 18" 2010 TL A-SPEC wheels black chrome(In the mail as we speak ) after that ima probably do the comptech exhaust or cold air box.I was also looking at the throttle body spacer but cant really see that giving me any gains but its said to give some so lets see.I still feel like i would be better off in the legend coupe this is a hard transition even thought the two cars come off the same tree branch!! One other question how does the 07 tl type-s stand in the line up of type2 coupe cl-s that car was on my mind as well for some reason the cl-s doesnt feel quiet like home for me!!! (sad to say) i know!

Now if you're thinking 07-08 TL the S, nothing compares; you're talking 3.5L 305 hp monster. That car is extremely fast and fun to drive. It had all the trimmings (I personally hate the wheels that year, I would upgrade to Aspec) That would be an awesome buy. I don't know your preference but I'd go 6MT. I'm still not sold on the J series auto trans yet. Probably the only thing that would hold a candle to it would be the NSX

Actually, the 07-08 TL-S has 286hp. The new 09+ SH-AWD has 305hp, albeit through the J37 powertrain.

Agreed.. I have had an '02 TL-S and it was a nice car- pretty quick. I think around 6 sec 0-60. I now have a '99 DD that is nice as well. But they don't have the soul or all around quality the legends do

Right you are my man. TL's didn't get 305hp til the next year and you had to get SH-AWD for that kind of hp.
