Default Head gasket sealer??? Temp fix!!

Has anyone used any of these head gasket sealers with good results? If so what did you use?? I just got my legend from my uncle. I had overheating issues and I would see smoke coming from the bottom of the engine on the drivers side. He did tell me it might have a cracked head. So I figured what the heck. I threw some of the fyberlock head gasket repair in it and it works great. I've been driving the car for a month and it runs very smooth. No overheating. No smoke. I'm very impressed. gona be doing the 3.5 swap later this year so I hope it lasts!! Any other experiences using head gasket sealer??

Great to hear something seems to be working so well. Give us monthly updates. This stuff is called "fyberlock"?

I used K-Seal successfully on my original sedan.

Above posts were from January 2016 to April 2016 logging my K-Seal experience. Unfortunately our Legend Killer of a daughter put the sedan into its grave by May....

If it's a throw-away car this stuff will buy you some time, but I have been on the short end of the deal 3 times now. When someone does try to fix the car the impact of that stuff is far reaching into just about anywhere coolant flows... think dashboard removal to get the heater core cleaned/replaced.

That's pretty amazing. I just read reviews on Amazon and it does seem like that product may actually be some magic snake oil.

In my experience these are all band aid solutions. Ive used a few with various degrees of success and failures. In the end it's best to make a proper repair when possible. Hope it holds up for ya so you can get that 3.5 swap.

Welp! 2 years later and the head gasket sealer finally wore off! The Acura is sitting in my driveway now. Gona try the treatment again in a few months when it starts warming up! Didn’t expect it to last this long!

What no 3.5 swap yet?

Well let us know if the temp fix works a second time around.
