Unhappy Front and rear glass moldings

I hate that my car has been forced to a life in the driveway. The sun has really taken its toll of everything! Before I get her repainted, Iím trying to decide how to fix the peeling thatís going on with the front and rear glass. Has anyone tried vinyl wrap or plasti dip? My last option would be to just paint them black.

Best to paint them. Do not remove them from the car unless you like big headaches.

Thats good to know...I was just looking at the clips that hold them on and trying to determine if I need to order replacements. I will see if I can pull the peeling black cover off and prep them on the car.

Do you have a recommendation for the type of paint to use?

I firmly believe if these are removed they will disintegrate, but if they are painted the edges will eventually chip and peel. I would plastidip them, personally.
