Default GS Spark Plug mystery

Hello!

I can't find any information at all on the
NGK PZR6E-11 or Nippondenso:PK20CR-11
what gives?

I've searched rock auto, ebay, amzn and came up with nothing.

From the Factory Service Manual pg. 4-4
GS Sedan/Coupe NGK:PZR6E-11 Nippondenso:PK20CR-11; For L and LS Model cars: Normal driving conditions NGK: PFR6G-11 PZFR6F-11 Nippondenso: PK20PR-L11 PKJ20CR-L11 ; Spark Plug Gap: 1.1 m m (0.04 in)

I'll probably use NGK V powers ( BKR6E-11) since I drive probably 4K miles a year.

Those are very old part numbers which is why you cannot find them. They have been superseded by (NGK) PFR5G-11 and (Denso) PKJ20CR-L11

Okay, I found this url with a bunch of NGK part numbers but still not the
PZR6E-11 that was superseded by the PFR5G-11.

Get the 6 heat range About 10.00 HERE AT AMAZON (PFR6G-11), they work fine. Same as you would pay 16-20.00 each for at the dealer. HERE is a broader amazon search that has a 5G heat range in the results.

Cool

Digging around on rockauto, ngk, denso

Strangely rockauto shows NGK plugs in the 6 heat range (5 hottest for NGK)
but for Denso it shows 16 (hottest in their range) instead of 20 that our FSM calls for.

NGK 5555 PFR6G-11 Laser Platinum series
Manufacturer Heat Range 6

the Denso model:
3247 ( PKJ20CR-L11 )

Manufacturer Heat Range 20

If you look up Acura Legend on the Denso site they only pull up heat range 16 plugs even though they have the 20 heat range ones too though the only way to find those is to cross reference the 5555.

Now I feel silly for spending 1.5 hours doing this.
