What are your thoughts? I guess it would look almost the same since you can't really tell the trims are unpainted on this picture.
Thats a tough one and it's a personal call, I think if you painted the lower skirts and lips it'll look sharp, and if you wanted to or had the chance, now is the time to do it.
I went though this decision when I had them painted on my white coupe, and had them done. Reasons being, I felt that it really modernizes the look and it actaully gives the Legend a the body line a lower look. As far as what some folks told me "omg Chris it's gonna get scratched up bad". I don't think so, because it's not any different than a 94-94 lS coupe with factory colored lower skirts and lips, and if you really check out used Legend there is more road rash on the noses/front bumpers, and door dings that rock chips on lower mouldings. Then again, your color does a better job hiding the black trims versus Frost White.

All side skirts painted, I can't find a before pic on photobucket but if I do later I'll post one for you.

They are hard to find! Even if you went for broke and bought a brand new OEM one you'd still have to get a hold of the lower lip. I kept the 91 bumper on my 91.

I think it's great you're taking on this task, keep the pictures coming, i'll be watching as I have contemplated doign this off and on, on a different car in my driveway.

wow, you're doing it yourself? that's brave but i'm sure it saves a fortune on the cost. i would be worried about getting dust or whatever in the paint without some kind of clean room.

good luck, the cobalt color is really sweet and i'm sure you'll be stoked when you're done.
