Damn, sorry to hear man. Luckily, it doesn't look too bad. Going to need some extra careful alignment to get that perfect line up again. Good luck, can't wait to see the results.

Thank you gentlemen...

I got a bunch of fiberglass work done over the weekend...not much to look at, but now at least this quarterpanel is almost ready to primer and paint...just gonna fill a few pits and low spots that are left over then get both quarters and the trunk jamb all done at once.

All things considered, it's gonna come out pretty nice. Should have something to look at in another week or so.

Just wanted to give you a good idea of what this quarter looked like BEFORE.

are you repairing it proper? aka, new metal? or are you just filling it up and banging it out?

Couldn't find new metal...unless I cut it from another car, which isn't really new metal....so just banging it out and filling with fiberglass.

Would of it been easier to just cut a third corner from another car.

Have you ever replaced a quarter panel? Or are you just theorizing?

Progress looks good man. Yes a replacement panel would be optimum, but when it isn't easily available, a good marglass, or similar will do the trick. Better than just using body filler.
