I can make them look amazing, but not factory. They have a machined face that I can't reproduce without a CNC machine, which I don't have. I can sand them down, fill the scratches (if any) and paint them with a nice silver metallic and clearcoat them, but it won't look like they do from the factory.

Ok....so....back in May, THIS happened...

And I've put about 20 hours into it and...

In closing I'd just like to say....F*** insurance companies, F*** inexperienced teenage drivers, and F*** the ones that wear the badge but don't "protect & serve"....

Looks like this is now a full paint job thread. On a good note... Got the calipers blasted and coated...they look really nice.

So I've been getting all the mechanical stuff in shape before painting. Dropped the trans and put in a new clutch...

Took off the cam holder assembly and replaced the tube seals, valve cover gasket, cam plugs, etc. stopping all known oil leaks at this time...

Noticed my trans mount was shot.....

So I decided to fill the core with urethane and make it a full-race mount, which was fun. Maybe I should do a DIY thread?

Drives and shifts great with the stiffer mount, but more engine noise/vibration. It doesn't bother me tho when the bass is all the way up, lol.

I then restored my license plate light brackets.....sandblasted and coated in POR15...

Here's a nice before and after shot of my plastic restoration skillz....it was a pain getting those old screws out....

And my clear corners and bumper lights came in.....

All my paint is now here as well. I might get to start spraying this weekend!

Suck to hear about the accident, glad to see you putting work into it.

Can't wait to get into the collision field and eventually refinish my legend.
