j/k , I'm telling you man, this guy is tempting me to save up my quarters (pennies are not enough I'm sure) and have my car towed to his shop and wait for the good to happen. I'm very very very picky about paint jobs. I know how to prep and I'm good at it, I just dont have a paint booth nor do I have experience shooting. So if he hates orange peel as bad as I do I will be very happy with the results.
I have thoroughly invested in wetsanding and polishing equipment for those times the clear doesn't lay down as flat as I'd like....sometimes it's just so hot, I got no choice. A nice day day at 80 degrees tho, and I can make it super smooth.....so yes, I hate orange peel.

Disappointed there weren't pics of the G1 'vert in this thread!

Nice work bro - you've got the touch for sure.
I completely agree with youz. I'm trying to find the time to get some serious work done on that car.....I painted the front wheel wells the other day tho! Let me tell you how fun it is to wire brush off all that undercoating!

Brushed-on then sprayed with 10% reduced mix to even out the brush strokes.

Why, POR 15 solvent, of course! Yes, they have a specially made solvent for their products...and it smells just like mineral spirits....wouldn't be surprised if that's all it was, but I bought some just in case.
