I firmly believe if these are removed they will disintegrate, but if they are painted the edges will eventually chip and peel. I would plastidip them, personally.

I use Tide Free with an extra rinse afterward, then dry them on low.

Not sure how many people know this, but heat kills microfibers faster than anything. Tumble dry them on low if you can.

I rebuilt one a year and a half ago. Got a spare from a yard, replaced $20 of OEM seals, washers, etc. Was very easy, even if Honda's very own diagram had a spring going in backwards :ohgeez:

The 94-95 is different because of the power steering column. I have read they work in a swap but have not tried it, they are very easy to remove and should only be a few dollars.

Very little shine after letting it air out for a couple days after applying. If you want lots of shine for tires or something like that, try 3D Ultra Protectant. Works on pretty much all surfaces.
