There's a reason I didn't push an immediate ban, and that was to shed light on the situation and TRY to work on a solution while holding him publicly accountable. But ya know, when we get our money what will happen .

Yeah, I saw red when I was showed that. Numerous people reached out to me and we're like "hey Chris, you should really see this". He's been playing this whole "I only get paid once per month" card as if he has no money. Truth is he has the money to pay us and his child support, he just chooses to not pay his responsibilities. What sickens me, is that there are members, and I won't say names, that actually believe TJ is somehow being victimized here. Like we are somehow treating him unfairly. TJ has them so brainwashed and mind fucked that they can't even see the truth.

Default MFactory LSD Group Buy

It's those individuals that I've been battling this whole time. Making a very legitimate argument difficult, when heckling is in the background. I'm glad they're being quiet now, considering they can't say shit after a year of the same bs excuses.

I am no legal scholar...but it would be funny as hell to send someone out to impound all his vehicles for what is owed. Banks seize shit all the time...

I grew up with a kid that had problems since he was young, one of those guys you see pics of and you know he has issues. He knocked up I think three girls straight out of high school(don't even know if he has degree) and would again and again make people fall for his sob story to sign for loans etc etc. It surprises alot of folks he is still even alive at this point for all the money owed.

Bump for having another $200 cleared from TJ.

On another note: anyone installed theirs yet?!?!

My car is up for a suspension rebuild, so it's convenient to do the diff at this time. I've been getting my ducks in a row to install the LSD in a spare unit I've got in the attic. Studying the Helms shop manual, read it through several times. Shouldn't be too big a deal, I've set up final drives before but not on a Legend.

A couple questions that I'm going to be researching next as I dig deeper to prep for this project, maybe someone knows:

1. Not sure how many shims or which ones might be necessary for setting up pinion or the new carrier for proper gear mesh--at least the shims appear to be available off the shelf from suppliers like acurapartsnow.com . They are probably universal to Honda. I'm not going to be ordering shims until I know I need them, but when it's time I'm not sure I'm going to know which of the 20-some thicknesses I might need. Do I need to order a bunch of them and hope I have enough? Or just keep trial and erroring and ordering more and more? Fortunately they're not too expensive, but they are 7 bucks each plus shipping... any advice or alternatives here?

2. There is a "special tool" to hold the carrier while you do a number of procedures, it's called the 07MAA-SF10100 Locknut Wrench. (First appears on page 15-8 of your Helms manual.) I had something like this back in the day on my ATC200X to pull the oil pump out of that trike. My Dad and I made one out of a piece of pipe.
I haven't gotten my spare diff down out of the attic quite yet to see what the exact design and purpose of this tool is, or how I might do the job without it--any ideas? Is it necessary or is there a simple/easy workaround? Is it cheap? Is there a generic parts store equivalent? A quick web search doesn't seem to have any come up.

Public service info:
Pinion Thrust Shims: "43 mm Thrust Shim" page 15-23 in your Helms
run from 1.64mm through 2.27mm in .03mm increments, part numbers run from 41410-PY4-000 through 41431-PY4-000

Carrier Shims: "79.5mm Thrust Shim" page 15-24 in your Helms
run from .66mm through 1.83mm in .03 increments, part numbers run from 41460-PY4-000 through 41483-PY4-000

Check these guys out: acurapartsnow.com , they have fantastic exploded diagrams of everything on the entire vehicle, this is the diagram for the manual transmission differential gear assembly, with the available shims to order.

So to answer my question about the special Locknut Wrench tool here, it does NOT appear to be necessary at all. Boo-yeah. The recesses into which the tool fits are very accessible, and a piece of steel bar stock of approximately correct width and thickness will be adequate. The tool is not used for any heavy torque loads; it is only used for rotating the ring gear in order to measure backlash and inspect gear mesh. Nothing fancy at all. I might even be able to use a spare splined driveshaft end I have laying around to accomplish this purpose.

I updated a DIY thread for the differential overhaul. The last page will have the updated/fixed broken links.
