Default Interesting speedo issue

Since now a member.. I may as well ask.

Got a 93 Honda legend touring... this is my issue...

When the car is cold the speedo is put (at 50kmh on the speedo I'm doing 60kmh, but at 70kmh on the speedo I'm sitting at 100kmh)

As the car warms up the speedo gets more accurate.. takes roughly 30-40mins while driving before it shows the correct speed at 110kmh.

I'm thinking it may be the speed sensor but not 100% sure... any ideas?

Mine did the same thing. It ended up being the Main1 board behind the cluster.

I replaced 2 known good speedos and they registered flat 0 all the time where the "bad" one was 10 - 15 mph off depending on temperature. I replaced the board and all 3 speedos worked fine and were dead on with the roadside radar near my house.

I may have to look into this. My speedo is always wonky until the car warms up, and I've replaced the VSS as well.

Welcome to the forum. There aren't very many people active on here anymore, but there are a few. Please make sure you pay attention to what section you are posting in. This is the 2nd Gen Gallery section, meaning this section is for pictures of 91-95 Legends, not for questions about your car.
