Default vss or something else

After having my shg replaced, I have been driving my car as normal, but I noticed that the speed shown at the speedometer has changed all of the sudden.
Before it was very precise and showed the same small difference in shown speedometer speed and actual speed, no matter how fast I drove, but now the difference is a lot more and it increases with speed.
I don't have an erractic speedo needle or anything like that, and is still on the stock wheels and stock dimension tires.
When driving at shown speed of 31 mph there is a difference of about 7 mph to actual speed (38 mph), and that difference increases as speed rises. So at 68 mph (shown speed) the actual speed is 78mph, at 80mph (shown speed) actual speed is 92mph..
So is this a typical vss failure symptom or could there be another problem.
The reason why I ask, is because I had another Legend owner tell me that his similar problem didn't get fixed with replacing the vss with a new one.
Hope anyone has some insight.

Normally not a VSS issue.

Do you have any ideas about what else could cause this?

LegendWiki - G2: Service Manuals And TSBs: 91-048 - Speedometer Reads Too High

EDIT: As mentioned in the TSB, this isn't actually a calibration, all it does is lower the gauge reading. How are you comparing the speedometer to you supposed actual speed?

Didn’t change your tire/rim setup recently? VSS I believe counts revolutions, so changing your rim/tire size could throw off your speedo like you’re describing. Otherwise, this doesn’t sound like a typical VSS issue.
