Was this the final outcome? I have the Hyundai bushings and want to make sure they are properly fitted before having the old ones taken out

Wow, I have realized I have a lot to learn about suspension and steering. I guess this thread has prompted me to check mine at least.

Folks are just poly filling the old or using Hyundai and trimming it? I can't find a set of bushings on rock auto or NAPA.

Whats the verdict on the poly fill vs Hyundai?

so now that the pressing has been done we need a DIY and a core program.

I think the poly fill on just about everything has been problematic except the outer motor mounts. (which really do very little anyway)

IMHO real rubber is the way to go on these bushings, unless of course you want a go-kart in which case you go teflon/nylon everywhere!!! (good luck with that)

The machine shop said they could get it done, but it would cost me around $350 for the labor.
I almost feel like it would be better to hone the bracket until the bushing could be squeezed in. Especially since Honda is never going to make us a bushing that will press in correctly right?

I think I'll snag a pair of brackets and give it a go.
