3.5 rl swap with aluminum crank pulley questions
Does anyone else have one? My legend had it when I got it and my roommate says it will mess up my main bearings

The only thing I'm worried about for the sake of my main bearings is the presence of oil.
 If your roomate has some hard proof, and I'm talking on the C32A or C35A engine, then that would be helpful. If our lower end was that fragile then every one of us that put an MT flywheel on a 3.5 would be in big trouble. I understand the merits of balancing both ends of the crank, but I think Honda made bullet proof mains because not even they balanced everything to perfection. Same two piece C32A pulley was fit to the A/T, Solid and Dual mass flywheels. I think your 3.5 is fine with a lighter pulley, but if you get uneasy about it there are plenty that would send you a stock pulley for a straight up trade. rich

Is the 3.5 still internally balanced? I know the 3.2 is...... Either way 3.5 is smoother and has balance shaft
