Makes for a happy ride after changing from original 15” wheels and old tires after 4 1/2 years!

Tires are Continental Extreme DWS 06, 225/50 R16

One wheel was bought several (5+?) years ago from an eBay seller as refinished (and never taken out of the box) when I thought I had a wheel that wasn’t holding air (turned out to be bad bead on a new tire, Cooper, which I eventually dumped the whole set), another wheel (bought “new” refinished from an eBay seller) was used in a 5 tire rotation and was hardly used sitting in the trunk (I’ll never do a 5 tire rotation again, a waste), and 2 wheels were refinished in 2019 when I went in with another forum member to refinish a full set of wheels he had sitting around.

By the way, the tires are 225/50 R16, Continental Extreme DWS 06

Nice! The DWS is a pretty sporty tire. How does it feel on a softly sprung legend?

Hi Ken - new tires with the 16” wheels making a big difference in ride quality, feels like a luxury car ride after those 15” wheels and old tires! Felt great riding around town local and highway, noticed it right away,

Couldn’t help myself…. Sedan was cleaned up with clay bar detailing. Had it in the garage with a car cover to keep dust and pollen off when garage door was open. The finish is so smooth and slippery it was like Keystone Cops getting the car cover on as it tended to slide off.

I had to park on the street today so A/C contractor had access through garage for a new compressor installation.
