Time to get your registration and payment in. The $100 fee will increase to $110 if not paid by June 30, 2022.

Of course no where has cheap gas prices, but you will be happy to see Wichita seems to stay under the national average. Currently Wichita is at $4.17 for regular while the national average for regular is $4.67.

Yes I am watching a number of "variables" for registering for NALM this year.

I WISH any of my cars including the Legend took "regular gas" as premium fuel here just about requires a HELOC to get just now. It also just hit me that the "late registration" additional cost is literally less than two gallons of fuel based on my last gas filling outing. My Dad thought he would call me yesterday from Texas just to brag that he only paid $4.64 per gallon for premium fuel at a savings club there. Its been MONTHS since I've had fuel that "inexpensive".

It is hard to believe it is about $6.19 a gallon in parts of California now. (I think that includes about 65 cents more than other states for several types of taxes.) Kansas is the 9th most productive state in the nation for oil production, so maybe that helps to keep our prices down. I quoted regular because that's what most people quote. Premium is about $4.71 now in Wichita.

Gas went up 40 cents here . . . yesterday. Regular is $4.59 about everywhere, premium is 60 to 70 cents more. Sam's Club membership pays for itself in 4 tanks or less. Scary to think what it'll be in 3 months.

Registration fee increases from $100 to $110 if registration and payment occurs after June 30, 2022. This web site showed 8 people viewing when I signed on just now, so it appears there are several people considering attending. Time to get off the fence and commit.
