EGR code on CEL only indicates that the valve is not opening: nothing to do with detecting flow past the valve. I have had luck WD40'ing the valve shaft and got it to stop throwing the code. If that doesn't work, I have good used EGR valves available.

Yep I understood that going in. Was hoping a good cleaning wood get that valve working right but I guess not. I will message you Alan

WD40, PB Blaster, Free-All, any rust penetrating lube will sometimes helps free it up, Ive saved a few of them doing that trick too. Once it is free or even as prevent maint. Hit the valve shaft with a little Remoil...it's suspended teflon and nothing will stick to it, also works well on power antenna masts to keep them moving freely, even door hinges, locks, window channels etc. Obviously clean the area you are gonna coat first, but yeah, that stuff works wonders, I use that pretty often now that Ive learned about it.

New hood courtesy of Alperovich. Its got some damage but much better than mine. Gonna wrap it in black vinyl. Also got a new driver headlight in
