Well looks like a lot of guys will be going though paso to get to morro bay if your taking the 5. So maybe we should meet somewhere off the 101. Cause its a good 20min drive to morro bay from paso robles.

So it looks like the average drive time for both Norcal and Socal guys is about 4 hours with the farthest guys putting in about 5.

So I'm thinking that an arrival time at Morro Rock of 11am to 12pm is a nice window for everyone to get in and the gives farthest guys the opportunity to get on the road at a semi decent hour.

So we can all plan to arrive as early as 11 but by 12 at the latest. Once everyone has arrive, we can do a meet and greet and pics until about 12:30 or 12:45, then well start the cruise up the 1 toward the 46 and Paso Robles. The 46, as was mentioned, has a nice elevation change and some mild twisting road (nothing insane...sorry Tommy!). It will be a nice cruise. We've also discussed sending a volunteer "spotter" ahead of the group by about 10-15 minutes to see if there are any John Q Laws camped out along the route...you know just to be safe. I already have someone volunteered for this duty should we decide to do this option.

After the cruise, we wind up back at the 101 and at our destination for lunch. I think we've found a good lunch spot for our size group that is moderately priced. Our location scout is going to go "sample the goods" just to be sure that it's up to par tell the fiance she can thank the forum for her nice dinner Mike

Anyhow, once that last piece is in place, I will close this thread and start a new one with maps, directions, locations, a time table, and an official attendees list.

It's coming together nicely guys! Make sure you put in that time off request for May 19!
