Very nice and a sweet upgrade! Do you require a core, or is there a core charge?

There is no core. You swap some of the parts over from the OEM shifter is all.

I designed these myself to be used with a custom heavy shift knob. That means you would have greater leverage and feel of engagement. I was going to make the knobs too, but ran out of time and each person is unique and would probably want their own.

Only five left.

Cool to see a few people making parts for Legends! Are these different in design from the RangerJoe short shifters from way back?

What a short shifter? Trust me Lou you would be able to tell. The stock shifter has a pretty long row and the shift knob has a significant distance between even and odd gear engagements. You should just go ahead and pick one up!

These are dimensionally almost the exact same as the Rangerjoe so the throw distance will be the same. However these are lighter weight, therefore if you put a weighted shift knob on , you will have a crisper faster shift. You can't bend aluminum easily so there is extra difficulty in designing. These are a high strength grade as well doubling the cost almost for me to make.

I have flanges cut for making a small batch of strut bars like the MLS. Jig made but haven't gotten to it yet. IF people are interested let me know on that as well.
