Thumbs up Is this a mirror off a 1st gen coupe? Also, what color?

This is a really odd question. I've had this mirror for many years. Honestly, I can't recall how we came across it. Maybe it was a mistaken purchase for the old race car (2nd gen)...who knows. What's crazy is, it's brand new.

Anyway, this mirror, says C-LH on the bottom, so I would assume it's for a coupe, and is clearly for the drivers side. Some photos I see of 1st gens, it seems to match, others, I'm questioning it.

Can anyone confirm this is for a 1st gen?
Also, what color is this? It's a really pretty dark blue

Hmm this one is interesting. It is similar to a G2 sedan mirror and the only color that would be a dark blue would be Cobalt Blue Pearl B-54P. I think it is for a G1 vehicle as it doesn't seem to be quite as curved as the G2 mirrors. My Japanese reading skills don't exist at all so I'm not much help figuring out the writing I see on it.

Hell it could be for some other Honda for all I know.
Then again, it appears to be identical to this listing on Ebay (not color of course).

Yes, it's from a G1 coupe. The mirror looks like the one off my worn out '87 coupe, minus the paint.

That brass stud is wrong unless it was a model year thing. My mirror looks a bit more "square" than the other mirrors.

I'm not sure about G1 coupes, but for G1 sedans the mirror was only painted to match body color on the 1990 models. All the others were black.

No kidding? Interesting.... so this is a 1990 coupe mirror.

Looking on paintscratch.com, it appears to be Cobalt Blue Pearl.

Thank you!
