Default 1993 Acura Legend LS Coupe - 6 speed

anyone want to meet up and go check this out?

Sounds like its up by DrDave's place

http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/1672723282.html

I am selling my 1993 Acura Legend LS Coupe - 6 speed manual with Type II v6 3.2Liter 230hp motor

It is a very rare color combination and LS Premium Package.

Car has 109k original miles and I am third owner. I have all the maintenance records and receipts from the day car left dealership!

Timing belt, water pump, spark plugs and other belts were changed at 103k miles at the Acura dealership.

I bought this car from second owner with some damage to the left quoter panel. Car was written off by insurance due to the estimate body repair cost.

(older car can be very easily totaled by insurance due to their lower kbb value vs repair cost)

** My guess is a salvage title **

It was professorially repaired with OEM Acura parts.

Currently it is in absolutely flawless condition inside and out with perfect exterior paint. Seats have normal wear on them, but no rips or tears.

Just talked to Mike, the owner of this coupe. He said the original owner was 60 when the car was purchased and drove it until she was 70 and sold it with 77k on the odometer. The 2nd owner was a gentleman that drove it until it was rear-ended and totaled. Car has been dealer maintained down to the oil changes and he has receipts to back it. The quarter panel that was damaged was replaced as he didn't want bondo on the car. It drives as good as it looks and would be a great addition to someone's stable. Sadly, I'm out of room in mine.

Mike has rebuilt Legends in the past. When I met him previously, he had sourced a totaled black/black coupe out of CA to rebuild his 95 coupe that he has since put back together and sold. The sourced black/black coupe was the donor car for my Type A interior. He's a great guy, easy to talk to, not pushy whatsoever.

See...that's how you take care of a Legend...or vehicle (or restore it.) Seriously I always see pistol whipped Legends and it pisses me off. When I sold my 98 Accord V6 coupe back in 2007 it looked almost brand new, it still had a few things left from the previous owner (I bought it at 40k, drove it until 120k.) I put on about 80k mi and drove it 7 years and you could barely even tell, still looked almost brand new.

Btw, the color looks like Rosewood, or really close. Damn, that would be a great color for a coupe, especially with the Type E interior. Boy though, $7k is steep; I've had no interest for mine at $3k (in average shape), people really aren't buying much of anything these days, everybody is hurting for money and if not, scared they will be...stupid recession :-(

Just saw those pics again, this totally reaffirms that not only is the G2 Legend my favorite car to drive, overall. But, also, is one of the nicest, most classic car designs of all time.

Btw, anyone confirm if that is rosewood paint or not? Maybe, I'll give a call in the morning.

Looks like a decent job of painting the lowers from the pics. I'd take a very close look at them.

Those HID lights uhg.

There is a high mileage 6MT TL locally near that price.
