Here's where I had the one in my old Legend:
 I cut a piece of sheet steel and bent it into an "L" so it fit between the dash and the vent trim.

no disrespect, I just wouldn't go that route, it doesn't fit. When I have extra money laying around, I'm just gonna get a Gentex mirror with the temp, compass, and auto dimming. Classy Up the interior.
