Haha Mom's Legend and the Accord have the exact same exterior color code. The accord isn't going to be that color for long though. I really hate gray.

If I can find a good black interior, it will get swapped

My dad has a 93 he bought new at the dealership. Its red with grey interior and a 5 speed. 250K miles and hes still on the original engine and clutch. Car is beyond mint except for a small amount of clear coming off the top.

Save yourself a huge headache and ask any questions about this car here instead of on a honda/accord forum. Those fools give so much misinformation its insane.

Make a list of parts you want/need and the colors and post it here or PM me and ill grab you whatever you need from the yard next trip. (thats a sick offer btw just ask the crowing, i love pulling stuff for ppls projects)

You want an H series not an F, it will work out to almost the same cost since F is JDM, and you can usually find an H for pretty cheap. Just start searching craigslist and local stuff for a prelude engine. When you find a running H series for less than $500, grab it.

I Think all cb accords are OBD1 even if they are 90 or 91 like yours. You should double check this as soon as you get a chance, because if its already obd1 it will save you a ton of headaches and cash down the road. Just look at the connector that plugs to the ECU. If it looks like the legend (except has 1 fewer connectors), its OBD1. If its OBD0, it will look ancient.

speaking of misinformation. f22b single cam vtec is NOT a JDM only motor.

cd5 and cl sound familiar?

I have a 90 accord with a bhg (still drive it though just remove the t-stat) it also has a failing power steering rack among a host of other problems there is an ebay seller who sells those door handles new for about 10 or 20 bucks. I have that same red interior, I don't mind mine though. My g1's interior is the same color.

CB7! My roommate my freshman year had a CB7, he does a ton of work on it, has the interior stripped down to just one driver seat, no carpet/lining, and he's put numerous sway bars in, so it has ridiculous handling. It was his car that got me into Honda/Acuras, I was looking for that exact Accord you have when I stumbled across the Legend.

DAY 2
Stripped out and cleaned the interior and removed the last 2 hubcaps. The interior was filthy and still is but at least it doesn't stink so bad. Putting the interior back together tomorrow and starting engine work. I'll tape up the rust just so it doesn't spread and leave the body for now until I can get the car running properly. Here are a few pics of the progress so far:

Haha thanks. I haven't really decided what I want to do with this car yet. I guess I'll decide once I get it fixed to where it can go 5 miles without overheating. I'm leaning toward more of a performance car but I may sell it as well once it is restored to a point. I kinda want to keep it though. We'll see.
