The best way to spray clear coat so it doesn't run is a thin, steady, somewhat fast pass. For the first layer. Then wet sand it down with 2000 ish grit sand paper and repeat.

ahem.... are the panels you are painting grounded? did you use a preclean product? did you use a tack cloth?

when you prep sanded the base coat. you LEFT the last bit of dust ON the panel correct?
it sometimes helps the clear lay out better.

you have to use the tack cloth so you can get rid of the dirtyness

Just got the car back from Maaco yesterday. I'm putting it back together tomorrow morning and hopefully I will do a photoshoot by tomorrow evening. Car looks great!!!!

Thanks Ty!!!! The car's running like a dream now. Everything's perfect. The only problem I have is a bit of a squeal from the power steering belt.

I still have some brake work to do. Need new pads and I have to bleed them. Then I will get the car inspected and put it up for sale... Probably next week.
