haha good info guys. Keep it comin' The interior really has to go though. It looks clean but it's filthy, stained, and stinks terribly. the last owner was a smoker, and smoked badly. The stink will never come out. I have to drive with the windows down all the time because the smell makes me gag. I'll try to clean it but i don't think I'll have much luck. As for the engine, i'll have to do a lot of research because I am not a mechanic by any means but we'll see and i'll def keep you guys posted

Oh, I def will look into cb7tuner.com. As for the interior, i would love to get rid of those dang auto seat belts. I'm really short at 5' 3" and they cut me off right in the neck. Very uncomfortable

Warning: You are young enough Mr. LegendLand that if you start buying beaters NOW, its going to turn into a lifelong addiction.
![]() My dad has a 93 he bought new at the dealership. Its red with grey interior and a 5 speed. 250K miles and hes still on the original engine and clutch. Car is beyond mint except for a small amount of clear coming off the top. Save yourself a huge headache and ask any questions about this car here instead of on a honda/accord forum. Those fools give so much misinformation its insane. Make a list of parts you want/need and the colors and post it here or PM me and ill grab you whatever you need from the yard next trip. (thats a sick offer btw just ask the crowing, i love pulling stuff for ppls projects You want an H series not an F, it will work out to almost the same cost since F is JDM, and you can usually find an H for pretty cheap. Just start searching craigslist and local stuff for a prelude engine. When you find a running H series for less than $500, grab it. I Think all cb accords are OBD1 even if they are 90 or 91 like yours. You should double check this as soon as you get a chance, because if its already obd1 it will save you a ton of headaches and cash down the road. Just look at the connector that plugs to the ECU. If it looks like the legend (except has 1 fewer connectors), its OBD1. If its OBD0, it will look ancient. |
