Maybe a honeycomb style would look good? (R'ish)
I do love the rear end.
Recently i was thinking that if you'd put the old KB1 front end on the new one it could look really cool.

just noticed RL's don't have headlight washer jets...

Thats basicly all they have to do to fix the RL. Basicly lower the hoodline to meet the fender, slenderize the beak so its not as tall, and make that little slit in the middle bottom of the bumper as big as the side openings.

Other than that I like the rear end (minus exhaust tips) and side of the 09+ RL

If I would somehow get an RL these would be my first mods.

lol

Old Hatch that is perfect. I admit that it took until recently before I could appreciate the new Honda line up. I give them mad props for the polarizing exterior, because you definitely cannot say that the car looks like every other luxury sedan out there.
My current Legend is the 4th Honda product that I have owned since 99, however I think it's about time for me to jump ship as far as the next car I purchase. Really looking at the E60 for two reasons. Came standard as manuals and RWD. I will always keep my Honda project vehicles, but the fact that BMW is the only car maker that still makes cars in a manual transmission really rules out alot of competitors. Mercedes being the next one.

after looking at the car a lot, i realize why they made the grille like that.

While in the details, they kinda missed the point, the overall picture makes the front of the car more "flat"

the 05-08s were mad pointy. While it is good looking from some angles, it just didn't scream "high class" so they wen tback and flattened the beak by raising the leading edge of the hood some 3-4 inches. I think it worked because the new one, though a slight bit ridiculous looking (just painting the shield part would look MUCH better), it has a bit more presence and authority than the 05-08.

i agree with you ivan, about them trying to make it look more "classy" the g4 is so pointy front and back it reminds me of the late 90's cl (like alperovich's) mixed with an accord.

unless next to another car for comparison, the shape of the previous RL made it SEEM smaller.
