Driver door power lock strange noise - AcuraLegend.Org - Where Honda / Acura Legend and RL Enthusiasts Gather

Sometimes my driver door power lock makes a strange noise when locking or unlocking. Not the usual thump of the lock going up or down but sorta s trange wine. It still opens and closes just as hard with no issues whatsoever, but was wondering if anyone else has this issue?

2004 RL Has it too. It mainly does it when locking for me.... I brang it to Acura and they kept trying to replicate it, but said it happened too infrequently, but that they'd put it in the system and warranty it still. Just bring it to the dealer and have them see if they can replicate it. If they can't then they should put it in the system.

you should have payed attention when I was there.

it does it one in fifteen times maybe. not often. havent heard it in a couple of days

Mine does it to and fairly often, almost every day. It sounds like something in the door is engaging. I thought it was normal.
