Hi, I have a 91 L sedan automatic. The body and interior are in decent shape, the car has 130,000 miles and runs super strong. It has one problem. The transmission went out. I was planning on fixing and driving it but every time I come up with the money to fix it something breaks on my daily driver. and then its a tossup. The legend will take more effort to get driving so i fix the other car because I can't be out of a car. I really just can't stand the sight of a nice car being negelected so I think I want to sell it to someone with the time and money to treat it right. What do you guys think a reasonable asking price would be for the car? Here are some pictures.

$800 but that might even be stretching it. Try to see if you can get 8 for it but be prepared to get lower offers.

I only had the car for 500 miles before it quit working. But I'm sure it was horsebeaten before I got it..... and yeah Im expecting low offers. I was thinking having a starting price around $800 and seeing where it went, I just didnt know if that would be too much. I only want to get rid of it because it needs to be driven, and I found an AE86 corolla, and some first gen. legends and a few trucks that I want to see If I can get just to have another car I can drive that would be cheaper in the long run and less effort and money than pulling the transmission out of this one.

^ I know I just dont really want to deal with having a car taken apart in my driveway and still having all the scraps afterwards. I am not really interested in getting rich off the car i just dont have the money to fix it. and It is still a nice car, it has a new TB, WP, radiator, and everything works still. Except the transmission. Plus there isn't really a market locally for legend parts, and I really don't want to deal with shipping, especially the big parts.

If you were in Phoenix I'd probably give you $500 for it because without being able to drive it there is no way to know what all may otherwise be wrong with it.

In my opinion, Legends are pretty costly to maintain. You're probably better off without it. Anyway, I would say, the car is <$1000.
