Does anyone know where I might find this part for my '88 LS Coupe manual?

Thinking that a junkyard is your only real option. I've had some luck with row 52 site. Find another LS vehicle out there and see if you can convince a local person to go and get this part for you and ship it.

Looks like a 1990 LS coupe arrived in Fresno pick n pull this week. The good news is that it has some heavy front end damage, so it was likely running at some point recently...
