but i guess the next question for me is... even though i'd love to do a bellhousing TB setup, can you really run the MS ignition standalone stuff without still needing the ECU for the injectors? or will the MS tune the injectors too?

i know that's getting a little deep into the whole deal but i'm still confused as to how it makes a fuel injected car a standalone car.
You enter all the parameters for your car like engine size, injector size, how high it revs, what kind of pick-up youre using to fire everything. It's very simple once you learn how to use it.

Site where you can buy everything & download the software
This will be your new best friend. Filled with information.

preciate that Taylor. for real. this'll really help.

Car2n out in el paso gave me the dl'd software for AEM's a while back but i didn't have any reason to use it back then so i just looked it over real quick.... it had a TON of info though. i gotta find him and get the software again.

but i'll definetly hold onto this cuz it's the route i'm going to be taking.

Where have you been finding those? To my knowledge no one makes a chip for the G1 because they haven't cracked the check sum

I wouldn't even let that thing get near my G1. All it does it mess with the O2 sensor, which you can make the car run rich. Your ECU isn't gonna like that. Only person I would trust to make a chip for us is Telion or sr5guy, but unfortunately, there isn't any G1's near sr5guy for him to work on. Plus, they'll need about 2 or 3 different ECU's to work with from 86-87 Sedan, 88-89 Sedan/87-89 Coupe, & 90 Sedan/Coupe(?).

I have a AT ECU and a MT ECU...If we can make things happen. I'm willing to ship it out to those guys who need the extra ecu to create a Chipped ECU.
Contact me.

They'll need the G1 to work on it. It just can't be the ECU itself.
