Glad this thread has generated some interest.

Perhaps we need to also look at the ECU from the C27A4 in the Accord? Can anyone help us out with that one, I don't believe we received this engine in Australia.

You make that sounds like a bad thing

Surely the fuel and ignition maps could provide some insight on what we can safely do with the C27A1's ECU?

you're givin it a shot.

personally i like phsical mods cuz they're cheap, lol. but yeah, i'd like to do this... but i think the best way to figure it out is to just start messin with it and adjust. and adjust some more.

dunno... i've never done spark/fuel mods, sides physical stuff like dizzy advance timing.

No, Steve, you're barking up the right tree. I can grab a C27A4 ECU this afternoon if need be, but I suspect the mapping will be very similar to our engines. The running theory is that the 9hp gain from the A4 engine is due to the redesigned intake manifold.

Yeah it should have some revised mapping to compensate.

What about the wing turbo model? Doesn't a member here have the motor and ECU?

Can you read Eproms? Can you send me the ECU?

Only person I know that has a turbo G1 is Steve (89hondalegend) and Alex (3GCVC).

Evan ("Chopped") might have one, but he's hardly ever here these days. I can shoot him an email to find out if he kept it, but he's running a standalone on his actual turbo build.
