Congrats on the vintage plate! I wanted to see about one for BOTH my Legends in 2019 and was told a 25 year old car didn't qualify. I vaguely recall the rep stating it was now THIRTY-FIVE YEARS and so I was like that'll never happen. However just checking their current provisions you can get them at 30 years. However it says the CANNOT be personalized so I'll be rocking a "regular" style plate for the remaining days for EEV, EEV2 and EEV3!

They pulled that "35 year" crap on me last year. This time I printed out the form from the state website that says "30 years".

Oh I went to the state website and saw it is "just" 30 years. However the 93 has TWO more years and the 94 has THREE more years before qualifying and since I CAN'T take EEV iterations (or ANY personalization) to put on the plate there is unfortunately NO WAY I'm going to do vintage plates when the cars do become eligible. Besides the state shows that a NEW PLATE design for standard tags is coming out for 2022. Who knows perhaps I'll like it. (OR perhaps it'll be so bad it'll make EVERYONE want to ) I still have my first EEV plate and now intend to KEEP the current versions as well. Hey I'm giving them an extra $52.50 a year for those stamped prison cafeteria plates so I might as well keep them suckas!

"Stamped"? Not anymore. They're just a flat plate with a printed vinyl wrap.

The edge of the plates is still stamped. Of course that may not be done by the "residents" at any of those "specialty group homes". I can see that kind of equipment being a problem around certain persons with "problems".
