I believe you full well Chris. Just trying to wrap my head how it can be off so much. Don't get me wrong, whenever I put the belts on I never liked the way they tensioned at all. I would rotate a couple crank revolutions and then loosen tensioner and then retightened and recheck marks. Planned on getting a degree wheel here in the text couple weeks. You see any benefit from me having my cam gears adjustable like yours? Got a set I can throw on.
If I get time I will do what you are saying and will even take some pics/vids for people. Dropping off a block tomorrow with my pistons. Any recommendations for clearance for a 2618 piston in these engines?

Install pistons at the manufacturers specs. Adjustable cam gears are handy, the cams are too retarded stock.

Around 23psi. Ive been up to 26 psi on a spike and no issues so far… but I am having PCV issues and now I’m hitting coil pack issues again. I have to switch to IGNa coils

For that application at that boost I would use CDI ignition. The IGN-1A are excellent coils, but to my mind the CDI is better.

There is a very simple answer. Most camshaft manufacturers do not understand how the system operates.Andrews Products understands the system. Talk to them.
