Default B-Pipe

I need a B-Pipe for a '90 Sedan (18220-SD4-053).

Does anyone have one to sell?

Is the coupe B-Pipe interchangeable with the Sedan?

According to the Delray Acura parts diagram/list, the B-Pipe part numbers are different between the coupe and sedan. The Vehicle Fitment tabs shows sedan and coupe separate.

I have no idea why they'd be different. Maybe it's a sound thing since that pipe looks like it has a resonator.

It's nice that they still have the Legend references.

Don't forget to search for the superseded part numbers that show up on Delray's parts pages. I've found NOS parts searching with the old part numbers.

After having my car for more than a year, my muffler guy finally completed a custom made B-pipe for Goldie.

The scamdemic knocked his shop for a loop. He had cars stuck on his lifts waiting for parts which kept being promised, but were then delayed, then promised, then delayed again, etc...

His main helper, who is married to a teacher, kept getting quarantined every time anyone at school came down with Wuhan Flu.

And you'd be surprised just how complicated Honda designed that B-pipe. Double walled entry into the resonator, but single walled exit. He had difficulty finding a resonator that fit both the tunnel and the heat shields. And he had to retrofit the heat shields from the old pipe. And he couldn't copy the old pipe exactly because my sister had warped it from the rear by backing the pipe into a short retaining wall, and my dad had warped it from the front by playing Dukes of Hazard over a railroad crossing.

But Goldie is finally back on the road!
